Panel Discussion No.5

Fifth panel discussion member was Sakiko, Mariko, Yosaku, Atushi and Chihiro.

Sakiko is moderator.

Mariko is 42, trying to become a mayor.

Yosaku is 42, elementary school teacher, have two children, hobby is fishing.

Atushi is 46, running mayor, hobby is to play golf.

Chihiro is 44, secretary of Atushi, hobby is shopping.

Their town is selecting a new mayor of the town, Both Mariko and Atushi talked about their policy to become their town mayor. For example, Mariko proposed her policies, to set  more outdoor lump and increase refuse place forchildren, that is to say, her policies is about safety of town. On the other hand, Atushi proposed that to raise tax and to hold food. It is to flourish our town and improve town economy. So their topic is election of our mayor.

It was very difficult to find important discussion point because there were many weak opinions. I thought that their discussion had only few opinions, so I also thought what is consensus!! If they want to make  a good panel discussion, they should prepare a lot of opinions and each opinion should be debatable things.

Finally, the most important things about their discussion was that their preparation was not enough to make a good panel discussion. I think preparation is the most important things when the people make a discussion.
